SAARC-ICCR CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME 2011 at Amity University Noida
The 4 day SAARC-ICCR cultural exchange programme concluded with all the 16 guests along with their host families being audience to Sukinder Singh’s bhangra and Srilankan students folk dance at ICCR’s Azad Bhavan Delhi, on the 16th of April.
A group of 16 students from two SAARC countries of Nepal and Afghanistan were in India for a cultural exchange programme organized by ICCR (Indian Centre for Cultural Relations). These 16 students were hosted by 16 families from Amity International School Noida from the 13th to the 16th of April 2010.

Gujjar agitation spreads in Rajasthan
five per cent reservation in government jobs with the demands of Gujjars in Rajasthan have stepped up the movement. Kirorie Singh of Bharatpur district, led by Colonel Bainsla Raseri railway track near the village occupied by the Gujjars, also retained the second day on Tuesday.
